Part 4: Goal Setting
This is the last of our 4-part series on "Who's minding your mind?" The idea of setting goals is not new or original! Most of us know we "should" have goals, but what does goal setting for women mean when we look at it from a new perspective?
Because it's almost Christmas and most people are very busy and not really focusing on their "inner lives" right now, I thought that for this week we'd set just one goal and then next week talk about what it means to have goals. The new year is approaching and with it comes the traditional task of setting goals for the year. But before you write up your traditional list, take this week to consider a new idea.

If you could only pick ONE GOAL to focus on for an entire year,
what would it be?
Does that sound crazy? This next year we're going to be focusing on finding the ONE Solution for everything and if there's only one solution, then it would make sense we could also have one goal for everything!
As you spend time with those you love and may not love so much, as you wish for the perfect gift or look for the perfect present, spend some time this week thinking about what it is you are really wanting underneath all of the holiday festivities and expectations.

What do you want?
This is the one question to focus on this week. Keep it in the back of your mind and just observe yourself as you move about your day and night. What do you want as you talk with your family? What do you want as you prepare the holiday meal? What do you want as you drive or fly to the place you are going? What do you want first thing in the morning and the last thing at night?

I encourage you to really spend some time with this question because it holds a great power for the gifts being held for you in this very moment.
Have a wonderful holiday week and and know you are blessed in so many ways! Love, Jill
