Women & Anger
This week we're talking about our Anger! This video ran a little long, but it's got some good stuff in it if you're wanting to really get a better grasp on this idea! It runs about 15 minutes and offers an overview of our anger: biologically, psychologically and spiritually!
Women & Anger
Here's 2 Angry Women that Rocked!!!
Mother Teresa Most of us are aware of how much Mother Teresa accomplished, but if you read her early biography she wasn't initially supported in her ideas. This is a great example of letting your anger with what is direct you to do what you want to do.
Florence Nightengale Most of us know Ms. Nightengale as a founder of nursing. The name we learned from her in history was "Lady with the Lamp." But did you know that wasn't the real story? Her real "nickname" was "Lady with the Hammer." She got it when an army general refused to give her medical supplies, so she took a hammer to the door that had them locked up!
A reporter gave her the lamp title because he thought the hammer image was too violent for most Americans. No one likes the image of an angry woman!
