Ride along with me as I let go of my old world life (home, job security, loss, depression, stress), and let in the new world (joy, freedom, adventure, happiness) that is now being built by the courageous souls who came here at this time to fulfill their divine purpose! It is my intention to share with you their stories to inspire you in your own journey, both within and without!
I have spent over 20 years as a social worker trying to find solutions in the old system and did nothing but fail...so now it's time to go find what does work!
We were born to live lives of joy and creativity and freedom! I hope you will follow along to discover the new world as me and my tiny trailer take to the road to find the many blessings that are everywhere when you really start to look for them!

JJ #8 - Problem or Solution?

Whether most people realize it or not, the majority of our time and energy is often focused on the problem and not the solution. What is even more fascinating is that as you try and shift your focus will be the amount of resistance you find in others who can't. The truth is that as long as we are "in" the problem, we feel safe from being responsible to create a solution. However, that doesn't get us off the hook or empower us - ever! Just take a few moments and think and then FEEL how being focused on the problem feels. It is disempowering in all ways. Then, shift into just one tiny aspect of any form of a solution and see how you feel. Which feels better? Which feeling do you want to create more of? Because what you FEEL within will create the world without. A world in which you are a victim or a hero - it is always your choice!!!!

Wow, it's been quite a while since I last posted a video! This video was made a while ago, but between my internet being down and then my power during the snow storms, well...then just distracted....that's how things go sometimes. As I mention in the video, this one was hard to make. It is still now what I wanted, but I don't have the patience or the video tools to do a version that would more closely match what I see in my mind. As I write this there is so much going in the world I'll admit I've shut down a bit to this tiny site and its vision. But, I started it with the intention of addressing the bigger issues, so it's time to refocus and get back on track. Until then, here's the next installment!
Excerpt: What then are these two worlds we are being asked to choose between? What is the ego hiding from us and what will it take for each person to want to see both clearly so that a choice can be made Most people are motivated to change themselves when they are wanting to avoid or stop pain or to seek pleasure. Pain is the stronger of the two in getting anyone to make a change. But there is a third form of motivation, one in which the response is beyond the pain/pleasure perspective of an ego. It is the motivation that lies beyond the self as a separate individual and the understanding that all is one in this Universe.

You'll have to excuse the fact that everything in this blog and in my website is getting all mixed up and off a single kind of focus. I'm still trying to find my way into the format that will best work with the goals I am reaching for....still looking if you'll stay with me while I experiment!
This blog is really for the #6 video and PDF file, the back stories and info is found on the main website. So, with that, what is it that is the goal I am seeking for?????
The only real purpose to ANY of this is to do my part in building the new world. As I've said, it won't be done with our hands and feet, but with our minds and hearts. I started this process a while ago, but want to start doing a better job documenting both my journey and that of others as together we work towards a common goal - this new world.
My goal is to use my tiny travel trailer as a metaphor for this process. As I rebuild it, I want to use it as a metaphor for how we can build this new world out of the old world we are all living in now. Not everything "here" is bad or broken, but a lot of it is. This process is really just each of us letting go of what we don't want and creating what we do.
In my heart I write books, but blogs don't allow for that kind of long winded reflection - but neither do you get the heart of a real message down in a few words and moments of one's attention. So, I'm trying to do a bit of everything. Brief summary's here. Video's to make it visual. Written PDF files to more fully develop ideas and concepts that get missed and misunderstood in a quick glance during a busy day!

Excerpt: I need to start this with a brief confession that I have a long history of collecting broken things. Rescuing would probably be the better term. Men, animals, houses, and now I've rescued a broken down travel trailer. To be more specific, it's a 1971 Thunderbird Travel Trailer. While it's no longer in production, it came from Colorado shiny and new three decades ago. I was pretty shiny and new three decades ago also, we both have some wear and tear to show for our time and travels!
Video Proof there is a trailer, it is tiny, and it is very broken!!!
